Dr. Sean Freiberg
Dr. Sean Freiberg is a general dentist who applies a holistic approach to the goals of modern dentistry. He completed his pre-dental training at Brigham Young University and graduated Cum Laude when he received his bachelor of science degree in 1994. Dr. Freiberg continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University where he received his DMD degree in 1999.
While in dental school, Dr. Freiberg developed a keen interest in dental materials. In addition to his studies in dental school, Dr. Freiberg’s work was published in the American Journal of Dentistry for his research in the field of dental materials. He was also selected to present his research at the National Institute of Dental Research (NIDR) convention in 1997.
Since dental school, Dr. Freiberg has applied his knowledge of dental materials and their effects on the human body to his clinical practice. Dr. Freiberg practices mercury-free, health-centered dentistry. His practice philosophy focuses on the oral contributions to diminished general health.
Other areas of interest that are available at Health First Dental include laser gum treatments, Invisalign, and dental implants.
Dr. Freiberg is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and College, Canadian Dental Association, Calgary and District Dental Association, and International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).

In 1993 Dr. Freiberg married his beautiful wife Lara, who grew up in Calgary. They have two lovely daughters, Sommer and Olivia, and a son, Erik.
Dr. Freiberg enjoys spending his spare time in church service and in the outdoors. Some of his favorite activities include hiking, fishing, snowboarding, and photography.
Dr. Gaganpreet Dhillon
Dr. Dhillon completed her bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from GDC, Amritsar, India in 2011. She passed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada in 2015 to become an accredited dentist in Canada. Dr. Dhillon initially practiced in Calgary before moving to the town of Drayton Valley where she practiced all aspects of dentistry for three years. Calgary was always her favourite place to be, so she moved back and joined the Health First Dental team.
Her passion is to build long-lasting relationships with her patients through quality dentistry with patient comfort as a priority. Her philosophy focuses on long-lasting health, function, and aesthetics while maintaining a conservative approach to treatment. Dr. Dhillon is constantly motivated towards further learning and advancement of her skills through continuing education courses.
Outside of dentistry she loves to spend time with her loving husband, daughter, family and friends. She adores the beauty of Canada and loves to explore new places here. Dr. Dhillon looks forward to meeting you.
Carol Bartolillo – Office Manager
Carol brings over 35 years of experience within the dental industry. Her professionalism and warm personality heighten the level of customer service to new and refreshing levels at Health First Dental.
Carol’s broad understanding of dental technology, health care benefits, and treatment alternatives provides a wealth of knowledge for our patients to access as they consider their oral health care options. Carol comes from a large family who enjoy their Italian roots. She and her husband are the proud parents of two wonderful children.
Amanda Bisschop – Level II Dental Assistant
Amanda is originally from Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary to attend school at SAIT where she completed her Dental Assisting diploma with honours. Amanda has been practicing as a dental assistant since 2004, taking some time off to raise her little ones.
Amanda has been a part of the Health First Dental team since 2005 and values the quality of care each patient receives. Amanda’s skills and experience combined with her positive attitude and genuine love for patients raises our level of care at Health First Dental. When not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, easy hikes, cheering on the Flames and Jazzercise.
Neha was born in India and raised in Toronto. She completed pre-health sciences from Ryerson University and later graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in 2008 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. After gaining a few years of experience in General Dentistry, she returned to school to receive a specialty in Restorative Dental Hygiene from University of Manitoba. She has also received specialized training as a periodontal therapist.
Jennifer was born and raised in Calgary. After spending many hours in the orthodontic chair, she decided to enter the world of dentistry. She graduated at the top of her class from KDM Dental College as a Level II dental assistant.
Sommer joined the Health First Dental team after graduating from Bowness High School in 2017. She took a six month break from work and completed an esthetician program from Delmar College in 2018. Dr. Freiberg then convinced her to come back to work as a member of the front office team because of her rapid understanding of the dental field and her professionalism. Sommer has a great attention to detail and brings a welcoming light to the office. Her hobbies include art, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
Ryan brings a broad understanding of dental hygiene as a result of his world experience. He studied pre-dentistry at University of Regina and received his dental hygiene degree from Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) in 2000. After working in Saskatoon for 1 ½ years, he moved to Switzerland where he worked full-time as well as travelled throughout Europe, Egypt, and Thailand.
