Invisalign is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without metal bands, brackets, or wires. Invisalign combines the doctors clinical treatment plan with proprietary 3-D, computer-generated software to create a series of unique, custom-made aligners that move teeth in very precise increments. The aligner is a clear, thin piece of medical grade plastic that fits over the teeth like a glove would fit on a hand. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by Dr. Freiberg. The aligners can be removed to eat, drink, brush and floss. Ideally the aligners should be worn at least 22 hour per day. Treatment time varies depending on your individual circumstances; however, most cases take less than one year.
